Mother's Day 2022 card using Tim Holtz markers and stamps.
I was reorganizing my craft room and trying to decide what to keep and what to purge when I came across my Tim Holtz Distress markers. I haven’t used them in a while and was wondering if I really needed to keep them so I decided to make a point of using them. I pulled out this “Floral Outlines” (CMS 430) Tim Holtz stamp by Stampers Anonymous and coloured it in with a few of the markers. I then spritzed very lightly (2-3 spritzes) some water on the stamp and stamped it on some Neenah Solar White 110 lb paper. In fact I was able to stamp it 5 times before the impression was too faint to be of interest. I liked the result so much that I decided to keep my markers. I might even buy some more if I can still find them as they’ve been discontinued!
The background text stamp is from Hero Arts - it’s called “Novel Prose” and is a 6” x 6” square. The letters were die cut using Stampin Up!’s “Playful Alphabet” dies. I die cut some pink fun foam twice using the letters so that they would stand out and then cut the letters from the original stamped card and glued them to the top of the stacked fun foam letters.
The photo corners are from an older Tim Holtz Bigz die called “ATC and Corners”. I added a few Pinkfresh “Glacier” jewels to the background. The card is 5” x 7”.
